SABRAO Journal of Breeding and Genetics Volume 56 Number 4 August 2024

This issue of the SABRAO journal contains various topics such as genetic-related studies on soybean, upland cotton, sorghum, cassava among other important crops. Other topics dealt on looking into the effect of mineral and organic fertilizers on maize, organic manure on peach seedlings, seed activation on wheat growth, biofertilizer on broad bean, low nickel fertilization on shallot in hydroponics, and liquid organic fertilizer and urea on rice. There is also about exploring hexane plants as a potential insecticide against pulse beetle. These are just few among 40 articles to enrich one’s knowledge or at least pique an interest in the recent studies and discovery on agricultural genetics and breeding in Asia and Oceania.
